The 10 Best Towers in Bloons TD6

These are the best towers in Bloons TD6!

The best tower in Bloons is all down to the situation at hand. Every map, boss, and challenge has so many unique ways you can tackle it. But there are a handful of towers that are generally considered to be the best and can be used in almost every situation.

The 10 Best Towers in Bloons TD6

Tack Shooter Towers

The first tower that pops into mind for seasoned players of the game is going to be Tack shooter. While it may not apply any detrimental effects to balloons it can shoot omnidirectional at a fast speed and cover so much ground too.

Elite Defender

The Elite Defender is the upgraded spec of the Sniper Monkey. This tower is designed for crowd control and taking down low-level balloons. When your other monkeys are busy focusing on Bloonarius this tower will expertly destroy the additional enemies spawning behind him.

Monkey Ace

Once this flying tower gets its first route upgraded it will immediately begin raining darts upon the soft balloons below. If you focus on leveling this tower it will eventually be able to take care of all the balloons you are encountering.

Mortar Monkey

This tower is another must-have. He has an infinite range for his mortars and never really hits a point where he can’t take care of large swaths of enemies. Later down its upgrade path, it gets the ability to slow down bosses which is always a good thing to have.

Bomb Shooter Towers

Tower efficiency without the monkeys! A handful of these towers will wreak havoc on large balloon groups. These towers can destroy the first wave of balloons during Elite Bloonarius all by themselves.

Wizard Monkey

The one tower to rule them all. Great damage, range, and damage over time. But this tower once it specs into the bottom upgrade path will begin to spawn zombie balloons who will turn on their own friends, essentially causing them to not be able to do anything.

Ninja Monkey

My personal favorite tower. This tower is the clean-up crew for any map. Once you have the foundation set for all of your towers easily clearing out balloons you can call in these guys and just level up their top path and you’ll have cost-effective boss killers on your hands.

Sniper Monkey

Sniper Monkeys can fire their snipers at the speed of most machine guns. Drop three of these boys on opposite sides of one another and watch them go to town to clean up any potential stragglers.

Glue Gunner Tower

The Glue Gunner does exactly what you think he does. Slows down enemy balloons so they are easier to shoot for your other towers. He can even slow down bosses. Lay him right at the start of the balloon line and thank me later.

Obsessed with grinding, always playing some game you've never heard of. I am a huge MMORPG, Gacha and farming simulator fan. If I'm not grinding something in one of the many games I play (Final Fantasy XIV, World of Warcraft, Runescape, Epic Seven etc) I can be found working on my novel, reading, watching anime or hanging out with my three dogs.
