All fans of Bloons Tower Defense 6 know that Bomb Shooters are an essential part of any successful defense strategy. With multiple upgrade paths to choose from, it can be tough to decide which one is the best. After lots of testing, we’ve determined that the best Bomb Shooter path is the middle path.
Here are the upgrades you should focus on:
Faster Reload
The Faster Reload upgrade unlocks at 180 xp. The cost to but it will be 210 coins. The effect this gives you is much needed as it will increase attacks by 33%.
Missile Launcher
The Missile Launcher exchanges bombs for missiles. It unlocks at 650xp and will cost 340 coins. These will fire faster, fly faster and have increased range. The effects are: attacks +36% faster (0.7333x attack cooldown) on top of the previous upgrade, gains +4 range, and gains +50% projectile speed.
MOAB Mauler
The MOAB Mauler upgrade is the third on the middle path and is a must-have, it is unlocked for 2,700 exp and will cost 935 coins. It increases the damage output on MOAB class Bloons. Explosions deal 16 damage to MOAB’s and gain +5 range.
MOAB Assassin
The MOAB Assassin upgrade costs 2,720 coins and unlocks for 10,000 exp. The assassinate MOAB ability sends special missiles out and does massive damage to MOAB’s. Attack range and damage is increased. The Ability targets the strongest blimp on screen and deals an instant 750 damage plus a weaker explosion to the first blimp hit. Main attack deals 31 damage to MOAB-class and 5 damage to Ceramics, and gains +5 range.
MOAB Eliminator
This stacks with all the other skills in the line. It will cost 21,250 coins and unlocks with 35,000 XP. The ability targets the strongest blimp on screen and deals an instant 4500 damage to the first blimp hit with 3x faster ability cooldown. Main attack deals 100 damage to MOAB-class and gains normal damage type.
Overall, the middle path of the Bomb Shooter is the best choice for taking on even the toughest bloon waves. With the right upgrades, it can be a powerful force that can carry you through to victory.
