One of the nicest things about the Sniper Rifle is you don’t need to spend any currency to obtain it. We’ll show you exactly where to find the Sniper Rifle in Remnant: From the Ashes.

Remnant: From the Ashes Church

Head over to The Church zone on Earth. As you make it through the first area of the game, you will find Root Mother in a church. In the church to the left you will find a door that allows you to explore the basement.

First, you must defend the Root Mother, which is a bit of a challenge. You may die a few times but it is not an impossible task. If you have already done this, you can skip this part and get straight to exploring.

Head down the stairs into the basement. You will immediately find a Blood Wort and an Ammo Box, and if you turn to the right you’ll notice a purple item in the corner locker with a crate in front of it. Destroy the crate and pick up your new Sniper Rifle.

This weapon is one of the first items you will find in the game with a scope. It holds less ammo than the hunting rifle but shoots slower and has a much longer range and higher critical chance.
