Where to find the Ward Prime Key in Remnant From the Ashes

The final expansion for Remnant From the Ashes is now available. In the campaign mode, you will need to explore Ward Prime after the first area. There are various puzzles to solve, including finding a hidden key to open Ward Prime. It’s a bit difficult to find, and it took us a while to figure it out. Where to find the Ward Prime Key in Remnant From the Ashes

When you get into Ward Prime, you will see a checkpoint as soon as you enter. Make sure to interact with that so you can revive there in case you die. You’ll notice some Root Apparitions roaming around, but you don’t need to worry about them unless you enter the Root World. Head to the main computer area in the southeast of the area. 

Interact with the Root Nexus to enter the Root World, and look out for the flying monsters and Root Apparitions. Head to the northeast corner of the area, and you will see a Root Heart you must destroy to progress. Shoot it a few times, and when it’s dead, you’ll exit Root World mode. Now, you can walk through the area you just opened and go downstairs to the Medical Bay. 

In the Medical Bay, you need to do the same process of interacting with the Root Nexus and destroying another Root Heart. After that, make your way through the door and look for a window. Jump through it and shoot the wooden bookshelf to reveal a hidden area. Inside that area is where you can find the Ward Prime Maintenance Key. 

After grabbing the key, you can make your way back upstairs to the first Root Nexus area. Use the key on the small door to the left of the double doors to gain access.
