Where to Find the Church in Vondel – Warzone 2.0 DMZ

Feeling holy?

At a time of bloodshed, believing in something above mankind can give you the hope and belief needed to keep moving forward to see your loved ones again. The lost land of Vondel remains completely desolate where soldiers regularly deploy into it’s streets in the hopes that they can successfully take back what is now lost. In the midst of the invasion and evacuation of civilization as most of us are very lucky to only know are buildings that previously held entertainment, life and hope for many. One of these is the castle which curious explorers of the past would visit, alongside its sacred church that soldiers use to converse with the higher ups on the state of the world. This is Vincent’s guide on where to find the church in Vondel for Researcher’s Dilemma Mission in Warzone 2.0 DMZ.

Where to Find the Church in Vondel – Location Guide

Warzone 2.0 DMZ Season 05 asks players to complete more Missions than ever before consisting of finding items and placing them down in placeholders for a third party to find. From the original Konni Laptop seen in the early Seasons of DMZ to finding the Battle and Researcher’s Notes in Vondel. For a full guide on how to complete Researcher’s Dilemma in Warzone 2.0 DMZ, see here. Whilst the first set of notes will take you to the Veterinary Office inside the Zoo, the second notes needed (False Notes) can be found inside the Castle Landmark in the Vondel Map Overview. Keep in mind however that the church cannot specifically be found within the castle grounds, rather it is located on the south-west side of the landmark.

When heading towards the castle, we highly recommend using the water ways that are scattered throughout the Vondel map. The castle side of Vondel is actually surrounded in water and should be used to your advantage. After grabbing the Researcher’s Notes from the Zoo first, head north and enter into the Castle Landmark via the south-west side of the Map. This is the best method to avoid any unwanted attention from enemy AI in the area. This may not be appropriate however if the Threat Level is High due to Konni Soldiers in the area, so be sure to refer to the Threat Level, smoke and aerial signs of action going on in the area before you attempt to infiltrate. Once you are inside the church grounds (outlined in the screenshot below), head for the Buy Station and climb the ladder in the area to get in the second floor of the chapel needed to place the notes down inside.
