The abandoned vehicle mission is a tier 1 shadow company mission. This means players should have access to this mission pretty early on in season 5. There’s a few things to note before you start searching for the car however. In order to be able to drive the abandoned MRAP vehicle, you’ll need to find the keys. There are two ways to find the MRAP keys in Al Mazrah, the first one being basically random luck. As the key can drop randomly as you loot around the map. Obtaining the key this way is completely random, and can take quite a while to find.

The second way to get it, which is guaranteed, is to purchase the key from a buy station. It won’t be free however, costing $200,000 of in game currency. Thankfully, players don’t have to earn all of that money in one run. Players are able to bring money from their wallet that they’ve earned in DMZ previously. After collecting the keys, all that’s left to do is to find an MRAP vehicle somewhere on the map. It seems there are normally 2 MRAPS in every instance of Al Mazrah that players find themselves in. And with them being marked on the map, all you’ll need to do is make it to the vehicle safely, enter the MRAP, and equip the keys from your inventory while sitting inside. This will complete the quest, and give you a fancy tank on wheels for the remainder of you match.
