Where to Find Konni Battle Notes in Warzone 2.0 DMZ – Battle Plans Mission Guide

A difficult introduction to the Shadow Company

New Seasons brings new Missions and Level resets, giving those deployment veterans a second chance to get ahead of the pack in their XP gain. Exfiling has never been easier, what with the mass amounts of Armor options, Backpack variations and weapon changes to make a more balanced PvP experience. A new Faction is added into the fold and with it comes Missions that test your expertise in zone knowledge, positioning, managing your inventory, and dead drop knowledge. The Shadow Company Faction looks to you to locate the Konni Battle Notes in the ghost town of Vondel and whilst the task sounds simple enough, having no pointer on where to look or what to search for when it comes to the Intel makes this Mission surprisingly difficult. This is Vincent’s guide on where to find the Battle Notes for Battle Plans Mission in Warzone 2.0 DMZ.

Where to Find the Intel for Battle Plans

Cargo Ship Instructions Location

The worst thing about this Tier 1 Mission is that each Intel is given a unique name that cannot simply be found anywhere. Although the Intel can be found on every map, Ashika Island is by far the easiest to access and complete when it comes to Strongholds. The first Intel you need is the Cargo Ship Instructions which is best obtained from inside a Stronghold. You will need to take out all enemies within and check the floor for pieces of paper which will have a title when you hover over the item to pick it up. Look for ‘Cargo Ship Instructions’ here.

To make your life a little easier if you are someone who does not typically enter Strongholds, use cover and the layout of the building to your advantage. Be sure to have lethal and tactical equipment to blind and deal damage to any enemies. You should also use doors to your advantage by luring enemies into a bottleneck position that allows you to clear them easier. Remember that you will need to get a Stronghold Keycard in order to access any Stronghold. You will need to enter a total of 3 separate Strongholds in order to get the x3 Cargo Ship Instructions you need to successfully tick this objective off the list.

Konni Battle Notes Location

The Battle Notes are the true horror of this Mission. With literally no answers given on where to look for these Notes and no specific spots for players to check, there is only one solution to find these Battle Notes – the Konni Soldiers themselves. You need to head to areas that have higher Threat Levels and clear visual that Konni Militia are in the area. Examples of this are Airstrikes shown on the Map to highlight the location of the action where Konni are located or smoke in the actual area where warfare is taking place. The Konni Soldiers are wearing the black disguise similar to the Field Upgrade and all-black outfits. Unlike the Cartel who appear in a set spot in Al Mazrah, the Konni Soldiers show up across each Map and in a variety of locations. Be sure to refer to whether or not you are in an Active Combat Zone underneath the area of the Map indicator at the top of your in-game screen.

Konni Soldiers can spawn in Sarrif Bay, Mawizeh Marshlands, Ahkdar Village and Al Mazrah Airport in Al Mazrah. These Soldiers however can also spawn in Vondel and Ashika Island so be sure to either look out for that Airstrike at the beginning of your deployment to highlight the area they are residing at or drive around until you are inside an Active Combat Zone. You will find the Battle Notes on the corpses of Konni Soldiers you or your allies have taken out. These appear as A3 size sheets of paper as floor loot upon killing the Konni Soldier.

An important note for this Mission is that you need to successfully Dead Drop all of the Intel for each objective. You will not be able to exfil with the Intel so make sure that you find all 3 of the Instructions to Dead Drop and then all 3 of the Battle Notes to Dead Drop. These can be done separately as objectives, but you must Dead Drop all 3 of one type of Intel in order to tick this off your objectives list.
