You will need to find a specific dungeon in the area Rhom. You will see a large monolith like the one shown in the picture above. This is the entry to the dungeon where you will find the Beam Rifle. There is no guarantee this dungeon will spawn, so it is possible you will need to re-roll your world.

The dungeon you want to find is called The Lost Gantry, and it is a sub-dungeon of the Concourse of the Sun. To find these dungeons, you can travel to Wasteland Merchant. As we stated, there is no guarantee you will find it the same way due to the randomly generated world.

When you find The Lost Gantry, go up and interact with the panel to open the door. Waves of monsters will come rushing in while the doors open. Look out for the monsters with rocket launchers. Use the pillars to shield yourself from the projectiles as the doors open. This fight is based on how many monsters you kill, not how much time has passed.

After the doors open, head on in to find your new weapon. The beam rifle will be sitting on display in front of a statue. This weapon deals more damage the longer you hold the trigger, so it is a very good weapon for boss fights.
