Where to find the Assault Rifle in Remnant: From the Ashes

The Assault Rifle is a solid weapon with good accuracy and a high rate of fire. It is great for handling encounters with large waves of enemies. We’ll show you exactly where to find the Assault Rifle in Remnant: From the Ashes.

To unlock this weapon you will need to complete the Root Mother encounter at the Church. If you have yet to reach this part of the story just keep playing until you finish it. Once you’re done, head to the golden through located past the broken wall of the Church.

Due to the randomly generated world, the location will be different for every player. You want to look for a ramp leading down to a broken wall. The dungeon will have water and plants everywhere.

First, we’ll want to find the Monkey Key. In this area you’ll see an elite monster that drops the key upon death. Pick it up, we’ll use this to open a door later.

Progress through the area and you will eventually get to a checkpoint after killing a good amount of monsters. Visit the checkpoint to restore your health an ammo. Look for a door that is visible from the checkpoint and head inside. You’ll then see a locked door with a monkey symbol on it.

Unlock this door with the Monkey Key we picked up before, and head inside to explore. You’ll find a room with a bunch of loot in it, along with a palette with an Assault Rifle sitting on it.

Pick up your new weapon and enjoy shredding through monsters with ease.
