Before players can start collecting mushrooms from Tera raids, you’ll need to know a few things. First, there are two different types of mushrooms available from Tera raids. Tiny mushrooms and Big Mushrooms. Second, each of these types of mushrooms go for different prices when selling them at shops, with big mushrooms selling for more than their tiny counterparts. We’ll start out by figuring out which raids can reward tiny mushrooms.

If you’re looking for a fast way to earn enough money to buy that new outfit from the shop, tiny mushrooms will be a big help along the way. Because the tiny mushrooms sell for less money they are a bit easier to collect than big mushrooms. For those looking to get tiny mushrooms, players will need to take part in any 1 to 3 star Tera raid. Since tiny mushrooms won’t be the only item that has a chance to drop from these fights, battling lower starred Tera Pokémon will take less time than trying to fight a 3 star (assuming that you are only trying to farm money). Now we are going to move on to the big mushrooms.

Finding big mushrooms in order to sell them will require a decent amount of progression in game. Big mushrooms are only able to be dropped from any 3 to 5 star Tera raid. Since these mushrooms sell for a decent amount of money, players will need to give these raids everything they’ve got in order to win the fight. Trainers will need to complete the main story before getting a chance at attempting a 5 star Tera raid for big mushrooms. Thankfully, if you want to earn some big mushrooms and haven’t completed the story but found 3 or 4 star Tera raids, you can give those a try as well. It’s unclear if the higher starred raids will have an increased chance at dropping big mushrooms.

While mushrooms aren’t the only thing that can be dropped from Tera raids, they certainly will help pad your wallet in game. The added benefit of catching tons of Terastallized Pokémon should be all anyone needs to give these battles a try. Sadly if you do not have Nintendo Online the game will throw 3 other A.I. in the game to try and help you out. It doesn’t ruin the experience entirely, but it does mean you’ll have to rely on 3 trainers that might not be the best at making game time decisions when compared to real people. However you decide to attempt these Tera raids, know that you will be making out like a bandit if you can acquire enough mushrooms no matter the size.
