Killa is a scav boss NPC that was added back in 0.11 of Escape From Tarkov. According to Battlestate Games, Killa is a lone fighter and fashion freak. He was once an athlete raised on the streets, and only plays by his own rules.

“Killa uses light machine gun or other automatic weapon to suppress the enemy, while lurking from cover to cover, getting closer to his target for the final push. During the assault he moves in zig-zag manner, uses grenades, suppresses few enemies with the fire of his weapon, plants smoke cover on one enemy while attacking the other. Well, it’s going to be a tough fight to get him killed. By the way, he considers PMC’s and Scavs as his enemies.” – Nikita Buyanov

Where to Find Killa in Escape From Tarkov

If you’re trying to find Killa, here’s a guide to help you on your journey. We must warn you, though. Killa has a habit of finding you instead of you finding him.

Killa has a chance to spawn in the Shopping Mall on the Interchange map. You can usually find him around the center of the first floor patrolling around the area. He wears a class 5 armorred vest and a class 4 helmet with a class 6 face shield.

If Killa spots you, he will continue to push on your location until he ambushes or assaults you. It’s recommended to hit him with some high penetration ammo like 5.45 BS, 5.56 M995, or 7.62×51. Without ammo like this you will have a tough time penetrating the armor. You need to make sure you use cover and stay mobile while fighting him.
