Where to find a Weed Stem in Grounded

Weed Stems allow you to acquire and craft higher tier items in Grounded. For that reason, it’s important to know where and how to find them. Weed Stems are the bottom part of Dandelion flowers. You can use the items to craft a variety of different recipes, including:

  • Doors
  • Roofs
  • Walls
  • Roof Corners
  • Roof Interiors
  • Stairs
  • Scaffolds
  • Palisade

Weed Stems are mostly a required material for Base Building recipes, though they are also a reagent for some Meals, Storage, and Trap recipes. To locate Dandelions, look for places with dry grass and weedy areas. You can also see yellowing of the grass in areas where Dandelions grow. You will need a Pebblet Axe to chop down the Dandelions and harvest some Weed Stems.

First, walk up to the Dandelion and swing your Pebblet Axe a few times to knock it down. Make sure to collect the pieces afterward and use your Computer Analyzer to scan them. Weed Stems are a higher tier item, so you will have to venture out a bit on your own to find some at the beginning of the game. They are used in all of the recipes listed above, plus many more. Be sure to stock up so you have enough. The chances are good that you will need to farm for some Weed Stems frequently.
