A Witch called Isolt Sayre and a Wizard called James Steward founded Ilvermorny in the seventeenth century. Ilvermorny is actually one of the few global wizarding schools that we do know a little bit about thanks to the extended lore.
While it doesn’t feature in Hogwarts Legacy, nor in any of the Harry Potter films, there is some external reading regarding Ilvermorny on Pottermore for those that are interested.
