Finding and crafting a Potion of Wild Growth is one of the first challenges novice alchemists face in Potion Craft. As you come out of the tutorial, Potion Craft lets go of your hand – letting you waddle around the alchemy map to your heart’s content. Unfortunately, this can lead to a few issues when it comes to brewing specific potions, like the Potion of Wild Growth we’re talking about today.
It’s a simple potion that you have access to right at the start of the game, so don’t worry about needing anything fancy. I’m going over the simplest way to find and craft a Potion of Wild Growth in Potion Craft, no bells or whistles required.
How to Find and Craft a Potion of Wild Growth in Potion Craft
Finding and crafting a Potion of Wild Growth in Potion Craft is a remarkably unremarkable task. The value of the potion reflects that, so don’t expect to be making too much money off of these things. Regardless, you’ll need to know how to make them for certain requests, which is why I’m going to show you the recipe I use myself:
- 2x Druid’s Rosemary – Fully Crushed.
- 1x Waterbloom – Fully Crushed.
- 1x Druid’s Rosemary – Fully Crushed.
- Water – Balance with stirring to line up the potion node.
- Witch Mushroom – Uncrushed.
There are countless different recipes you can use to make a Potion of Wild Growth in Potion Craft – and all of them will do the same thing. The node for the potion is on the “life” part of the water map, meaning going off diagonally in the bottom right-hand corner.
If you go to make a Potion of Health, then continue in that direction, you’re bound to stumble across it. Just filter your ingredients by “life” then throw a bunch of things in the pot. Chances are you’ll end up in that general area, anyway.

How to Create a Potion of Wild Growth in Potion Craft with Oil
Now, Potions of Wild Growth are remarkably easier to create with water as your base. If you do want to make it with oil, for some reason, then you’re going to need Sun or Moon Salt – both of which are fairly mid-to-late game ingredients.
The Potion of Wild Growth node is almost in the exact same spot on the oil map as the water map. Follow the map in a diagonal line going down and to the right – past the Potion of Health. You’ll find the spot you’re looking for not too long after.
There’s no advantage to using water over oil in this recipe – but you do what you want to do.
