Amazon’s New World delayed to September 28

Amazon Games has just announced on Twitter that they will be pushing back the New World release date by an entire month. New World was set to release on August 31, but the team wants to take some extra time to improve stability and polish the game a bit more, according to their Tweet.

New World is an MMORPG for PC where players can explore the 17th-century fantasy world of Aeternum. New World saw more than one million unique players with over sixteen million total hours logged during the Closed Beta.

The Closed Beta allowed players to give a lot of feedback that Amazon games will use to make New World a better experience for all players. Amazon Games’ Tweet mentions they will be making some improvements based on things encountered during Closed Beta. The decision to delay New World was not an easy one, but it was probably a good call.

The new release date for New World is September 28, 2021. Amazon Games now has an extra month to take care of existing bugs, improve stability, and throw some polish on their game. I don’t know about you, but I’m willing to wait a few weeks longer for a better game.
