New Pokemon Snap: Flickering Flames – 4 Star Ninetales Photo Guide

An angry Ninetales is nothing to scoff at, and it’s pretty easy to make it angry. Not to say the Elsewhere Forest request is easy, though, because it’s undoubtedly one of the most difficult in the game. Figure it out, and you’ll get a nice 4 Star Ninetales photo. Luckily, we did all the hard work for you. Here’s how to complete Flickering Flames and get a 4 Star photo of Ninetales in New Pokemon Snap.

For this LenTalk request, you’ll want to load into the Elsewhere Forest area. Now, we’ll want to force the Winter zone to be the second area, and there’s a little trick you can do to make that happen. Near the beginning of the zone, play a Melody for the Trevenant on the right side. It will move to the side, allowing you to do a scan and take the alternate path.

At this point, Espeon will follow along behind you and eventually run in front of you. Hit Espeon with an Illumina Orb, and you will then load into the Winter area, home of Ninetales. Now, you’ll see a Gardervoir on you’re right, with some admiring Deerlings. Hit the Gardervoir with an Illumina Orb, and it will teleport to a tree branch. Toss another Illumina Orb at Gardervoir, and it will teleport once more.

The two Deerling will walk up to the Gardervoir as it tosses snow up in the air and leaves. Pay attention to the Deerling, as they are the key to making Ninetales angry. The two Deerling will trot off a short distance, at which point you need to hit the one closest to you with a Fluffruit. Ninetales won’t take too kindly to that and quickly hop down to intimidate you.

When Ninetales is down off the ledge, throw a Fluffruit at it, followed by an Illumina Orb. Doing so will cause Ninetales to go into a fit of rage and cause some Mysterious Flames, as the photo caption describes. Snap a photo for that 4 Star Ninetales shot, and you’re ready to turn it in at Professor Mirror’s lab. That’s how you complete the Flickering Flames LenTalk request in Elsewhere Forest in New Pokemon Snap.
