If you are a Nintendo Switch Online member, you can download the entire game and play it for a week, with no strings attached, beginning on August 18.

How to get the Minecraft Dungeons Free Trial

To claim the free trial, turn on your Nintendo Switch and tap on the Nintendo Switch Online button from the home screen. Find the Special Offers tab on the left side of the screen, and then go to Game Trials. You should see Minecraft Dungeons in this section at the scheduled release time.

The news comes as part of the Nintendo Switch Online 7-day game trials program, which has featured popular titles such as Among Us, Two Point Hospital, Overcooked! 2, and many more in the past.

Earlier in the month, Minecraft Dungeons was already live for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers in Japan from August 9 to August 15.

If you are on the fence about whether or not you’d like this game, and you’re already an NSO subscriber, it’s an excellent opportunity to give it a go. While Minecraft Dungeons is admittedly not for everyone, it’s an overall pleasant game that makes for a good relaxing local co-op game.
