Widely regarded as the quarterback of the defense, the middle linebacker is quite literally the center of all things happening on this side of the field in Madden NFL 22. Above all else, they are responsible for stopping the run and playing a support role in coverage, normally locked on to either the opposing running back or tight end.
As you can probably imagine, a strong defensive unit in the NFL will only go as far as their lead middle linebacker will take them. So, we’ve created a Madden NFL 22 tier list ranking all of the best middle linebackers in the game to help you form a championship defense.
