Lost Ark Glaivier Engravings

Lost Ark Glaivier Engravings

We have everything you need to know about Lost Ark Glaivier Engravings, including the best picks and some recommended alternatives.

The Glaivier is the most recent addition to the Martial Artist class in Lost Ark, and it has two distinct skill sets. Each stance focuses on a different weapon and kit of abilities, broken out by the spear and the glaive. Depending on how you like to play, you can choose to build a Glaivier that can change stances and unleash the full potential of both weapons (Pinnacle), or go with the Control build which focuses entirely on spear-based abilities.

Each build offers some pros and cons, but most players would recommend playing a Pinnacle build at this point in the game to experience the best of both worlds through switching between stances. In this guide below, we’ll list all of the Lost Ark Glaivier Engravings, with recommended Engraving options for the Pinnacle and Control paths.

Lost Ark Glaivier Engravings

Like every class in Lost Ark, two exclusive Engravings are available for the Glaivier. Depending on your playstyle, you can opt to go the Pinnacle route or the Control route. The former allows stance switching for a more complicated rotation, while the latter is strictly limited to Flurry Stance. Below are the optimal Engravings for both Pinnacle and Control Glaiviers.

Glaivier Exclusive Engravings

  • Pinnacle – Adds Pinnacle: Flurry/Focus instead of the Flurry/Focus Stage 3 effect added upon changing stances while the Dual Meter is maxed at Level 3.
  • Control – Cannot use Focus stance. Flurry skills have increased damage (18/27/36%).
  • Pinnacle
  • Ambush Master
  • Keen Blunt Weapon
  • Raid Captain
  • All-Out Attack
  • Grudge (level 3)
  • Cursed Doll (level 3)
  • Increases Mass (level 3)

A Pinnacle Glaivier is free to stance dance and will use skills in both Flurry and Focus stances. The goal is to generate Identity prior to switching stances for added damage increase, attack speed, and crit dance buffs for Flurry Stance, and damage increase, movement speed, and crit damage for Focus Stance. A Pinnacle Glaivier will want to focus entirely on Specialization and go with Swiftness (or even Crit) on the Necklace.

Recommended Glaivier Engravings for Control

  • Control
  • Ambush Master
  • Adrenaline
  • Raid Captain
  • Keen Blunt Weapon
  • Grudge (level 3)
  • Cursed Doll (level 3)

The Control Glaivier build is a fast spammy build that requires full use of Flurry Stance. Players who opt for this build are unable to change to focus stance. That also means the rotation is easier to master and may be preferred for a “lazy” gamer. That’s not to say it’s not an enjoyable build overall, though! For a Control Glaivier, you’ll want to stack Swiftness to reduce your ability cooldowns, since you are limited in your moveset. A good secondary sub stat would be Crit on a Control build.
