Lost Ark Gunlancer Engravings

Lost Ark Gunlancer Engravings

We have everything you need to know about Lost Ark Gunlancer Engravings, including the best picks and some recommended alternatives.

Gunlancer has a meter generating identity with two ways to consume it. Build the meter by landing blue and red abilities, and dump the meter by using one of two identity skills. The Defensive Stance puts up a shield for high defenses in exchange for movement speed, while the other jumps you to a target location and provides party-wide damage reduction and crowd-control immunity.

There are two routes you can take for Gunlancer Class Engravings: Lone Knight and Combat Readiness. These are both referred to at Red and Blue Warlord in the Lost Ark community. Combat Readiness is the tanky build where you don’t need to worry about dying or even doing boss mechanics. You soak damage and deal the damage back to foes. Lonely Knight is a more bursty build, where you will burn through your meter quickly but won’t be able to use your Shield of Battlefield ability. Below, we’ll list all of the Lost Ark Gunlancer Engravings, with recommended options for both Combat Readiness and Lone Knight Engravings.

Lost Ark Gunlancer Engravings

Like every class in Lost Ark, two exclusive Engravings are available for the Gunlancer. Players are not limited to those two only, and there are dozens of other engravings available to boost your stats and compliment your playstyle. These are listed in priority of how you should get them. As you level and unlock more engravings, you can go down the list and add the others. For the Gunlancer, we’ll take a look at the Esoteric and Intention GunlancerEngravings builds.

Gunlancer Exclusive Engravings

  • Combat Readiness – Normal skills damage increases. Shiel amount increases in Defensive Stance. Damage increases for 10 seconds when hit while in Defensive Stance (stacks three times, once every one second).
  • Lone Knight – Gunlance skill Crit Rate increases. Crit Damage increases. Battlefield Shield cannot be used. Shield Meter consumption during Defensive Stance increases 100%.
  • Combat Readiness
  • Barricade
  • Awakening
  • Spirit Absorption
  • Adrenaline
  • Stabilized Status
  • Grudge (Lv. 3 or don’t use)
  • Cursed Doll

Recommended Gunlancer Engravings for Lone Knight (Red)

  • Lone Knight
  • Super Charge
  • Spirit Absorption
  • Master Brawler
  • Keen Blunt Weapon
  • Adrenaline
  • Stabilized Status
  • Grudge (Lv. 3 or don’t use)
  • Cursed Doll

So, which Engravings should you pick? According to the top leaderboards for other regions, there are slightly more Blue Warlords (Combat Readiness). However, there are also a good number of players who pick up both Lone Knight and get it to level three and Combat Readiness at level one.

The main stat priority for Combat Readiness is Specialty, with a secondary as Crit (about 3:1). The Red Warlord should focus stat priorities on Crit, with the Swiftness sub-stat (about 2:1). Regardless of your decision, Gunlancers have the unique ability to handle pretty much any type of content efficiently.
