Lil Cactus are small creatures in Trials of Mana that can be found in specific areas of the game. They award players with XP boosts, treasures, shop discounts, and more. This guide explores all of the different Lil Cactus locations in Trials of Mana.

Lil Cactus Locations in Trials of Mana

There are dozens of Lil Cactus in Trials of Mana, some of which will give you some special perks. These perks can be found in Lampbloom Woods III, Labyrinth of Ice I and II, Daria Gem Valley I, Ancient Capital Pedda, Sanctuary of Mana, Stonesplit Gap II, Heavensway I, Gusthall I, and the Oasis of Diin. Here is a complete list of all the Lil Cactus locations in Trials of Mana.

  • Ancient Capital Pedda

The Lil Cactus can be found above the entrance on the wall. If you go to the right side you can find stairs to take to get up there. This one grants a perk that gives a higher chance for good items from seeds.

  • Burning Sands

There are two Lil Cactus in this area. You can find the first one under the falling sands near the plants. The second one can be found down the narrow path leading to the pillars.

  • Cascade Cavern

Take the path that does not lead to the Golden Angel statue. Head left into the cave and you can find a Lil Cactus and a treasure chest.

  • Chartmoon Tower I

You can find the Lil Cactus in the area with the crystal, towards the left side.

  • Chartmoon Tower VIII

In the opposite direction of the save point Gold Statue, you can find the Lil Cactus when heading towards the area exit point.

  • Crystal Desert I

There are two Lil Cactus located in this area. First, in the room behind the Gremlins you can find the Lil Cactus. Second, go to the right from the crossroads and you’ll find a Lil Cactus and a chest.

  • Daria, Gem Valley I

There are two Lil Cactus in this area. The first one can be found near the path with the rocks on it, and it grants a random 3X Boost to XP perk. The second Lil Cactus can be found near the geysers on the other path, around the Golden Angel save point.

  • Desert Capital Sirhtan

Behind a house in the side of the city, you can find a entrance that leads to the Lil Cactus.

  • Duskmoon Forest

Find the Lil Cactus underneath the bridge leading to the castle.

  • Dwarf Tunnels

Inside a tunnel to the west across the bridge you can find a Lil Cactus.

  • Fiery Gorge I

Follow the path with lava coming out of the walls, and you can find the Lil Cactus around one of the corners.

  • Flowerbug Dior

Head down the path with the bridge that leads to the mansion, and you’ll come to a flower garden. You can find the Lil Cactus in there.

  • Free City of Maia

A Lil Cactus can be found at the docks on top of the shop near the ship.

  • Frostbite Fields

Go straight until you see the path fork. To your right you will see a small raised path and the Lil Cactus is under a tree around there. Second, you can find the other Lil Cactus across the wooden bridge to the left underneath a tree.

  • Golden Road

Go west on the road until you reach some stairs. Take a right and you will find the Lil Cactus under a tree.

  • Gusthall I

There are two Lil Cactus here. Go left from the entrance and you will see the Lil Cactus which will grant you a random 2X XP boost sometimes. The second one can be found if you go straight from the first one. Go left when you can when following the path until you see a cave on the right. Utilize the gust of wind to go higher and look to your left to find the second one.

  • Heavensway I

There are two Lil Cactus in this area. First, go left from the entrance down the path to the beach. A Lil Cactus is on the left by the rocks and palms. Second, near the end, you will see some waterfall, and you can find a Lil Cactus near them across a wooden bridge. This one gives a perk that grants a 10% discount at shops.

  • Holy City Wendel

Go on the path to the right of the armor shop and you’ll find the Lil Cactus in that area.

  • Jadd Stronghold I

You can find the Lil Cactus in the southwest under some stairs.

  • Labyrinth of Ice I

This one is located under the crystal you see that’s above some icicles. For this Lil Cactus you will get a perk that reduces the time required to escape from battle.

  • Labyrinth of Ice II

From the save point, go right and follow the path. You will find the Lil Cactus to the right side of the path. For this one, you get a perk that allows you to see undiscovered treasure boxes and Lil Cactus’s.

  • Lakeside Town of Astoria

You will see some houses near the start of this area. The Lil Cactus is located in front of the first house you see.

  • Lampbloom Woods I

Head left from the Golden Angel save point and you can find the Lil Cactus to the right side of the pathway.

  • Lampbloom Woods III

On the side of the path with the white flowers, you will find the Lil Cactus. This one grants a perk that makes more items available and gives you half off Training Points at the Night Market.

  • Lauren I

In this area you can find the Trials of Mana Lil Cactus near the Golden Angel save point behind the gate.

  • Merchant Town Beiser

Head towards town and go right after the first stairs. Take another right and you will find the Lil Cactus in the corner behind the houses.

  • Molebear Moors I

Go past the bridge after the Beelancers, and you will find the Lil Cactus. You can also find a chest around here on the left side.

  • Moonlight Town Mintas

Head down the path leading to the beach and take a right toward the mushroom garden, where you’ll find a pond with a Lil Cactus sitting behind the tree.

  • Oasis of Diin

The Lil Cactus is behind the Weapon Shop behind two rocks.

  • Obvisile

There are some paths leading to the beach. If you are coming from the beach you can find a Lil Cactus on the right side of a path.

  • Palo Port

Go straight until you see stairs on your left near the weapon shop. Head up the stairs and take a left. You will see the Lil Cactus underneath the tree.

  • Rabite Forest

You can find two Lil Cactus in this area. First, go across the bridge to the left of the Golden Angel save point. This will lead you to a beach, and if you look to the left you will see the Lil Cactus. Second, you will see some stairs near a treasure chest. Go up the stairs and you’ll see the second one.

  • Sanctuary of Mana

The Lil Cactus can be found next to a log on one of the main paths in the area. For this one, you get a perk that grants you the Lil Cactus Chain skill.

  • Shimmering Bridge

You can head to the northeast area and find the Lil Cactus on the path going to the south.

  • Shimmering Ruins

Head right from the save point and take your first left. You will find the Lil Cactus behind the bricks.

  • Snow Hamlet Alrant

Head straight to the center of the area and turn right. You will see a house on the northeast, with the Lil Cactus next to the door.

  • Stonesplit Gap II

On the path you will see a fire lantern, and the Lil Cactus is nearby on a stone. You will get the perk to see undiscovered treasure boxes from this one.

  • Valesena, Kingdom of the Plains

In the northeast side of town behind a hut, you can see the Lil Cactus inside the fence.

  • Woods of Wandara III

Head towards the chest, and you’ll find the Lil Cactus above it near the Mushgloom creatures.

  • Woods of Wandara VII

You will see a tree with a path around it, and the Lil Cactus can be found on the side near the Bees.
