What can you say about Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 that hasn’t already been said? For a game that’s lasted this long, it’s amazing to see just how much further it continues to climb, offering players some of the best innovations in a multiplayer game, to ever be seen. Between the fantastic new island map, the movement mechanics, and the new armory of weapons, there are a lot of great reasons to drop into the loop more often.
And it doesn’t end there either, as Epic Games has injected a new, massive gameplay mechanic in that’s sure to change the face of the game, for this chapter at least; Augments. And though there are a bunch of Augments up for grabs, one of the most unusual is the Party Time option. So, let’s explain how to use the Party Time Augment in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1!
How to Use the Party Time Augment in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
As I’ve just about unlocked every Augment in Fortnite’s Chapter 4 Season 1 update, by far one of the most exciting to grab is the Party Time Augment. Its use is a bit unorthodox and quite dangerous, but it can also be extremely useful in many situations. This is how it works; once activated, the Augment will begin tying balloons to you every few moments. By the end of its full cycle, you’ll be tied to 3 in total with things getting a bit more chaotic from the beginning to that last balloon added.

The first balloon simply gives you some less weighted jumping, almost taking gravity out of the picture. The second amplifies that even further, allowing you to stay in the air even longer. The third, however, totally makes you rise into the air with no way of coming down naturally. The good thing though is that you are allowed to pull balloons off of you, so long as you’re in the air. This makes it a bit easier to get back to earth when you get that third balloon that tries to make you float away.
The catch here is that enemies can most certainly shoot and pop your balloons. So this leaves the chance that, while in the air, an enemy can pop your balloons and send you straight to the ground. The other unfortunate side is that if you hit the ground after your balloons go bye-bye, you’ll die most times since there’s no impact resistance. So use this Augment with a large amount of caution.
