When the new Hot Wheels expansion was being marketed and advertised by Xbox and Playground Games, the big highlight was the all-new 10 cars included within its contents. Having played the game for a few days though, it would appear that those 10 new cars aren’t the only ones you can unlock during your playthrough of its campaign.
Through various missions across Hot Wheels Park, players can unlock additional cars that made their initial appearance during Forza Horizon 4’s own Hot Wheels DLC. Today, we’ll explain how to unlock one of those cars, the Nash Metropolitan Custom in Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels.
How to Unlock The Nash Metropolitan Custom in Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels
Unlocking the nash Metropolitan Custom is actually a pretty easy feat to accomplish within the Hot Wheels expansion. You really just have to play a single mission to do so and it can be done in a matter of minutes. Additionally, another way to win this car is by winning it during Wheel Spins, though, if you own this DLC that isn’t the route you’ll want to go. Let’s get into it!
Upon completing the introduction race that shows you what the Hot Wheels expansion has to offer, you’ll be given the Baja Bone Shaker to start off within the first chapter, the Rookie Rank. Once you’re given the car, go ahead and complete its qualifier challenge. This gives you an idea of what kind of tracks you’ll be racing on throughout this chapter and some of the new track mechanics.
Following that you’ll be able to race various different challenges across the map, one being the Hot Wheels: A History of Speed – The Beginning. This little side-mission collection runs through the campaign and will give you additional cars at every point. For this one, completing it will grant you the Nash Metropolitan Custom.
Each one of these little events will have you do a race or two and try to complete its objectives in the given time. This one is simply a race to the finish. Throughout it, you’ll be given a bit of a history tour of Hot Wheels through time. It’s a nifty set of challenges that are truly worth the time it takes to complete them.
Upon completion, you’ll be granted the Nash Metropolitan Custom as a reward which you can redeem via the Rookie Rank tab under the Major Missions section in the main menu. And that’s how you unlock it!
That’s all you have to do to gain access to the Nash Metropolitan Custom in Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels! It’s great to see that there are more than just the 10 new cars to unlock and it’s a pleasant, easy way of snagging them.
