Being one with your weapons is a philosophy I guess I can understand. I am indeed one with my weapon of choice. And that weapon is a butter knife. I mean, it gets the job done, imagine using a spoon to spread butter on bread. But yes, I know, it won’t do any significant damage to anybody, except for some elevated blood pressure and other health issues, but I digress. If I were to pick a weapon to be one with, especially in Modern Warfare 2, that would be a DMR. And boy do I have good news for you that agree with me. How to Unlock Tempus Torrent DMR in MW2
One of the most used and beloved weapons is the designated marksman rifle or DMR. The combination of huge damage output and a decently fast rate of fire only means one thing: explosive and instant death. So, when the new Modern Warfare 2 Season 02 Reloaded patch announced that we are getting a brand new DMR, I could hear the grinning of all players around the world, at the same time. That DMR is the Tempus Torrent, the only brand-new weapon arriving at Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 DMZ. And since we are talking about Call of Duty, there are two clear ways to unlock it.
And yes, you guessed it, those two ways are either skill or money. The first one is completing a weapon challenge, which will have you get 25 double kills with any DMR. A double kill is not killing two kills with a single bullet, but it means killing two enemies one after the other, with a small time window frame between the two. You can complete this challenge in either multiplayer or Warzone 2, so pick the mode of your choice. This weapon can also be unlocked by extracting it from DMZ. You can either find it on enemy bodies or a friend of yours can give drop it off for you to pick it up. Just exfil with it and you will unlock it. Finally, you can purchase it in the shop, once the Store Bundle is available for you to purchase.

As you can see, there are several ways you will be able to unlock these weapons. I would say that achieving those 25 double kills isn’t as hard as it sounds, so I would pick that option since it is completely dependent on skill. If not, well, just spend some bucks in the shop and you will get it immediately. Be it one way or another, go ahead and enjoy your brand-new DMR.
