Turn on the power

The first step in unlocking the Pack-A-Punch machine is to turn on the power. We have a guide for turning on the power in Call of Duty Cold War Zombies, in case you don’t know how to do this. In short, you need to blow up a series of barricades and open a few doors to get access to the Main Power room.

Activate the terminals

After turning on the power, there are two terminals in the Particle Accelerator room. The room is right next to the Main Power room, so they are nearby. Activate the hydro-energy infusion terminals to open up the Dark Aether Portal.

Enter the Dark Aether Portal

There should now be an Anomaly in between the two terminals, which is a Dark Aether portal. Walk up to it and interact with it to go through the portal into the Dark Aether world. It’s the same as the normal world, except there are many new visuals around the map.

Follow the Dark Aether Arrows to the Aether Tunnel

Make your way back outside to where you first spawned into the map. Next, make your way back to the Crash Site area to find the Dark Aether Tunnel. Now you can walk up to the tunnel and interact with it to go through. This tunnel leads you back to the Medical Bay area of the map.

Collect the Machine Part

After going through the Aether Tunnel, you will find a Machine Part right behind you. Interact with it to collect the Machine Part and proceed on to the next step.

Reforge the Pack-A-Punch Machine

Once again, you can follow the purple Dark Aether Arrows to get back to the Particle Accelerator room. You need to assemble the Pack-A-Punch machine using the machine part you just collected. In that area, you can find a translucent Pack-A-Punch machine, where you can forge the machine.

Interact with the Pack-A-Punch Machine

After forging the machine, the Pack-A-Punch machine will spawn, and the world will change back to normal and throw you through a portal. You can now interact with the Pack-A-Punch machine and increase your damage and weapon attributes. It costs 5,000 Points to level up your damage, and there are a total of three upgrades for your weapon.

You can also manually select your ammo mods, like Napalm Burst, through the menu, but it costs you some Points. That’s how to unlock Pack-A-Punch in Call of Duty Cold War Zombies.
