Are you feeling brave enough to take on the hardest Boss in Chained Echoes? All paths are leading to the God and the King, Gaemdriel through the collection of the six Elemental Tablets. Whilst this is not compulsory, for those who wish to 100% complete this game, the task to obtain all Tablets is a long and difficult one. The Tablets are found scattered throughout the Regions and are protected. Chained Echoes fans have labelled these Guards as the Super Bosses. For those looking to take on Gaemdriel, this guide will show you the steps to finding every Super Boss in the game which guards their Elemental Tablets, used to access the Chained Echoes Final Boss.
Every Super Boss Location in Chained Echoes
You can verse these Super Bosses in whichever order you would like depending on your Level. As these are Super Bosses, we highly recommend collecting the Elemental Tablets once you have completing the base game upon finishing the final Quest ‘Killing Gods’. These are all of the locations of the Super Bosses in Chained Echoes and their Elemental Tablet you can obtain upon defeating them.
Boustrous (Water Tablet)
Boustrous can be found in the Narslene Sewers. Although, when playing the game you will reach the Sewers relatively early on in your playthrough. However this is not the area of Narslene Sewers you need to be in to find Boustrous. Instead, players need to get to the hidden Baalrut Tunnels inside Ograne Grottos. The Baalrut Tunnels are key to finding three out of five of the Super Bosses. To get to Baalrut Tunnels, you must first find the Elevator Key for Raminas Tower. This is located inside the Nhysa Magic Academy, in the far-left room of the Courtyard area.
Use the Elevator Key in the Elevator Room of the Raminas Tower to head to 1F. You need to go to 8F in the Tower to find the exit into east Ograne Grottos. Once here, the Baalrut Tunnels can be found by going south-west from the 8F Tower exit. Inside the Tunnels, continue going south where you will find a secret entrance into Narslene Sewers. This is a new area for players therefore they will be enemies to verse alongside a Lever Puzzle to complete. This Super Boss is located on the south-east side of Narslene Sewers. You are required to complete the Lever Puzzle to gain access to Boustrous. Upon defeating this Boss, head north in the room where you will obtain the Water Tablet.
Chel and Twi’Tone (Fire Tablet)
Chel and Twi’Tone is another Super Boss located within the Baalrut Tunnels. Refer to our guide on getting to Boustrous above on how to get to Baalrut Tunnels. However this time around, the Super Boss in actually located within the Tunnels itself. If you head north upon entering the Baalrut Tunnels of Ograne Grottos you will eventually run into this pair. This is one of the easiest Bosses to locate as you are not required to complete any objectives for these to appear. Upon defeating this Super Boss, head north past where they spawned to find the exit towards the Oasis. The Fire Tablet is located south of the Oasis.
Randomage (Earth Tablet)
Randomage is located inside a portal on the eastern side of Ograne Grottos. Similarly to Boustrous, this Super Boss can only be found in the section of Ograne Grottos which requires the Elevator Key to Raminas Tower to access. However, unlike the other Bosses, players not only need the Elevator Key from Nhysa Magic Academy, but also Charon’s Coins. These are used to board the boat east of the Ograne Grottos entrance after exiting Raminas Tower 8F. Charon’s Coins can be found inside the Rohlan Fields Manor on the Lake. However you need to find the Manor Key to get into the Lake Manor.
The Manor Key is located on the north-west side of Rohlan Fields, specifically at the Ruins/Temple location. You will find Charon’s Coin Bag on the second floor of the Manor. With the Coins collected, head to Ograne Grottos via Raminas Tower and go east. You will find the boat for you to access the full eastern area of Ograne Grottos. Head to the south-east end of the area where you will find a portal which takes you to Randomage. Upon defeating this Super Boss, the Earth Tablet will spawn nearby when you exit his dimension.
Krakun (Wind Tablet)
This location only appears upon completing the Main Quest ‘Glenn’s Mind‘. Head over to Valandis and check the north-east side of the Region via the Airship. A small Island will appear here, noticeable by the rafts in the water. Krakun immediately attacks so be well prepared for taking this Super Boss on. The Wind Tablet is found inside the loot Krakun is protecting, defeating him will reward you with this Elemental Tablet.
Assassin Girl (Light Tablet)
For the final Super Boss guarding their Elemental Tablet, you first need to obtain the Baibai X Key from completing the Side Quest ‘A Goblin’s Dilemma‘. Go to the north-east side of Flower Fields of Perpetua to use the Key on the Vines which are blocking the passage through. Assassin Girl will appear shortly into your exploration of this area. The Light Tablet can be picked up after defeating Assassin Girl, within close proximity of where you has the Boss fight.
The final Elemental Tablet to obtain is the Darkness Tablet. Whilst this is not guarded by a Super Boss, you are required complete a couple of objectives to obtain the final Tablet. You first need to complete ‘A Goblin’s Dilemma‘ which was necessary to getting the Light Tablet in Perpetua. Go to Goblin Village for the Miner’s Key, found near the Village Merchant. Use the Key on the Wygrand Mines Elevator to get to the Mining Shaft of Rockbottom. Head east into an area which was previously inaccessible. the Darkness Tablet can be found inside.
Head to Ograne Grottos Altar
With all Tablets collected, head to the west side of Ograne Grottos for the Altar where you will find all 6 Stands to place the Tablets inside. Stand on the now glowing centre of the Altar to get teleported to the final fight of Chained Echoes. Facing the God King himself, Gaemdriel.
