How to Unlock Free Operator Skins in Warzone 2.0 DMZ

Get them before it is too late

Warzone 2.0 DMZ Season 2 is nearly upon us, with its massive update set to release February 15th, 2023. With it comes the reset of Faction Missions, including that of brand new rewards for players to obtain. Whilst the Factions remain the same in its titles, divided into 5 Tiers across the Legion, White Lotus and Black Mous Factions. Players will have brand new Missions to complete with challenges they have never attempted before and new rewards to get the playerbase excited. But with this change comes the acknowledgement that this is the end of the Season 1 Free Operator Skins. Whilst we will likely see new Operator Skins added as Mission rewards, the exclusive seven Skins will vanish forever. So if you do not have them yet, this is our guide on how to unlock all seven Free Operator Skins in DMZ.

Anonymous Operator Skin

The Anonymous Operator Skin is obtained through completing the Legion Tier 2 Mission: Frame Job. This Mission has three objectives to it. Players first must purchase an LTV (Turret equipped) and a Buy Station. Next, use the LTV Turret to kill 10 enemies. The specific location in which this objective must be done is inside Ahkdar Village. After completing this objective, the final action the player must complete is the destruction of the LTV Turret. Again, this must be done in a specific location. This time, you need to go to Mawizeh Marsh in order to destroy the Turret.

Blood Soaked Operator Skin

The Blood Soaked Operator Skin is unlocked upon completing the Tier 4 Mission of the Legion Faction: Poisoned Well. Players need to first obtain 6 Gas Grenades in a single deployment and then use these inside the Water Wells of Zarqwa Hydroelectric. The specific location in which the Water Wells can be found is the central Island of the named location, Zarqwa Hydroelectrics. For a full walkthrough on how to complete this Mission, thus obtaining one of the seven Free Operator Skins, take a look at our guide.

Defuse Operator Skin

Another of the Free Operator Skins is the Defuse, unlocked via the completion of the White Lotus Tier 2 Mission: Two Birds. These earlier Tiers typically ask players to complete multiple objectives. In Two Birds, you need to first travel to Al-Safwa Quarry. Located on the north-west side of the Al Mazrah Map. When you arrive, you must kill 18 enemies inside the named location. You do not need to equip a specific loadout to complete this objective. The final objective asks you to destroy two reinforcement Helos that are bringing in enemy reinforcements. You must bring a weapon such as a JOKR to take the Helo down before the Helo leaves after dropping off reinforcements.

Anti-Medic Operator Skin

The White Lotus Tier 4 Mission: Caved In rewards players with the Anti-Medic Skin. You need to go to riverside caves inside the Sattiq Caves via a boat. Inside, you must extract the Smuggling Records inside the Caves. Replace the Records with Sensitive Documents at the exact location in which you picked up the Smuggling Records. This must all be done within the same deployment. Before you can attempt this Mission however, players should first loot Sensitive Documents. This is a step missed out from the Mission objectives but is crucial for its completion as you do not pick up Sensitive Documents during the Caved In Mission itself.

Triage Operator Skin

To unlock the Triage Operator Skin, you need to complete the Black Mous Tier 2 Mission: Espionage. This is a relatively easy Mission to complete and can be done quickly as a solo. So long as you know the Dead Drop locations on the Al Mazrah Map. You need to go to Sattiq Poppy Farmer House to take the Politician’s Laptop. With this in your inventory, head to the Dead Drop in Al Sammam Cemetery to install a Rootkit. Return the now hacked Laptop to the Farmer House where you originally found it. We have a full guide available on how to complete this Mission if you are interested.

Relentless Operator Skin

The final of the Free Operator Skins that can be unlocked via a Faction Mission is the Relentless Skin. You need to complete the Black Mous Tier 4 Mission: Breaking and Entering. This Mission asks you to travel to the Sewers located underneath the Al Bagra Fortress. Once inside, you must reroute the 7 Security Device to unlock the System Architecture’s Container. However the rerouting must be done in under 4 minutes. Once done, extract the Documentation from the System Architecture to complete the Mission.

Biohazard Operator Skin

The Biohazard Operator Skin is the only one which is not obtained through completing a specific Faction Mission. Instead players need to complete a specific objective which is to exfil with 7 Weapon Cases.

We hope this guide on how to unlock all seven Free Operator Skins in Warzone 2.0 DMZ was helpful. Keep in mind that you have limited time to get these Skins with the big Season 2 update coming February 15th, 2023. So get to grinding and these Skins will soon be gone forever!
