Grab something exclusive before time runs out

With Season 2 of DMZ announced to release February 15th, 2023, Faction Missions see a reset. These will reintroduce players to the three Factions: Legion, White Lotus and Black Mous. But what we have learnt of these Missions are being changed for the latest update inside the new Ashika Island. Because of this, the rewards that you would receive upon completing Faction Missions will be gone forever. Those who want the seven Operator Skins via the Missions would need to complete specific Missions to unlock them. This is our guide on how to unlock the Blood Soaked Operator Skin in Warzone 2.0 DMZ.

How to Unlock Blood Soaked Operator Skin

This is one of the seven Operator Skins you can obtain in DMZ. It is a free Skin unlockable via the Faction Missions. The specific Mission in which you will obtain this Skin as a reward and 30,000 XP is inside the Legion Faction. Players need to first complete 3 Tiers of this Faction in order to gain access to this Mission. The Mission you are looking to complete is the ‘Poisoned Well’ Tier 4 Mission. This has two objectives tied to its summary. Players first need to obtain 6 Gas Grenades in a single deployment. Then, take these Grenades into the Zarqwa Hydroelectric Water Wells.

Before heading into deployment you can create a loadout with a Gas Grenade as your tactical equipment. Bringing this alongside a Munitions Box will give you multiple Gas Grenades, adding to the Grenade Counter for the first Mission objective. Luckily, Gas Grenades are a common item for loot meaning that you should be able to find the 6 relatively easily by checking Bags and Supply Crates around the Map. You can also loot cash in common loot containers to then spend at a Buy Station where Munitions Boxes can be purchased. That way you can replenish your tactical equipment with ease.

Collect 8-10 Gas Grenades in case you miss the Water Well which you need to throw the Grenade into. This can happen easily if you are being shot at as the area is highly contested. If the Grenades bug out and do not add onto the first objective counter, do not worry. Simply throw the Grenade on the floor and pick it back up as if it is floor loot and it should count towards the objective.

Where to Throw the Gas Grenades

You need to throw the 6 Gas Grenades into the Water Wells inside of Zarqwa Hydroelectric. The specific location in this named area of Al Mazrah is inside the central Island. You should refer to the screenshot below for the exact location in which you will find the Water Wells. Keep in mind that this area is highly contested with a lot of higher valued targets, making it harder to accomplish due to the higher difficulty of getting through Hydroelectric. This also means that you will not be able to simply run in and out to complete this Mission as there are higher levelled AI in the area which will require a full mag to take one out.

There is not a specific set of 6 locations in which you will throw the Grenades into. In fact you should clear out the area first and then look around for the closest Water Wells to your position. Some Water Wells have been pinpointed on the screenshot above. You should look out for small areas of water throughout the Hydroelectric, with pipes sticking out of it. After throwing all 6 into 6 separate Wells, the Mission will be complete with no exfil. This will reward you with 30,000 XP and the Blood Soaked Operator Skin.
