How To Solve The Mysterious Pair Quest in Tales of Arise

Here is how to solve The Mysterious Pair quest in Tales of Arise:

• Get the three “Wonder Text” clues from Wonder Bard in Niez
• Go to Iglia Wastes in Calaglia
• Find the lost instrument in the northernmost point of the map
• Return the instrument to Wonder Bard

Wonder Bard has misplaced his legendary instrument, and without a legendary instrument, he can’t even call himself a bard at all, let alone a Wonder Bard. To lead you to the spot he left the instrument, Wonder Bard will provide you with three “Wonder Texts,” clues that indicate its location. The clues are as follows:

1. Just beyond the hovels in a land shrouded by sand and stone.
2. The northernmost reaches of a wasteland to the north of an abandoned village.
3. It lies dormant at the back of a narrow road to the west, whereupon an ancient tower stands.

Now where have you seen an abandoned village in a sandy land? Why, I do believe it’s the Iglia Wastes in Calaglia! Fast travel back there and make your way to the northernmost point on the map, through a passageway near the entrance to the Fagan Ruins. You should see a sparkly object on the ground. Examine it to uncover the legendary instrument, the Iron Pipe.

Return to Niez and present Wonder Bard with your findings to complete the quest. He’ll reward you with the Quivering Candles Artifact, 2300 Gald, 15 SP. He’ll also let you keep the Iron Pipe; make sure you hold onto it, as it’s a vital crafting component in one of Alphen’s best weapons!
