How to Respec Your Perks in Cyberpunk 2077

Are you reluctant to put your perk points into anything, fearing you might regret the decision later? It’s good to be cautious in games with extensive skill-based trees like Cyberpunk 2077. After all, you want to make your character as powerful as humanly possible. One wrong decision might prevent you from getting that perk deep in the tree. Don’t worry, because you can refund your perk points. Here’s how to respec your perks in Cyberpunk 2077.

Perk points are assigned to the sub-categories under each of the five main attributes: Body, Reflexes, Technical Ability, Intelligence, and Cool. There are twelve different categories you can put your perks into, including:

  • Athletics
  • Annihilation
  • Street Brawler
  • Handguns
  • Blades
  • Assault
  • Crafting
  • Engineering
  • Breach Protocol
  • Quickhacking
  • Stealth
  • Cold Blood

How you distribute your perks basically influences your character’s build. That is your playstyle and affects how you approach side jobs and how you get your gear. For example, if you want to craft your items, you’ll be putting points into the Technical Ability attribute and working your way down the Crafting perk tree.

How to Respec Your Perks in Cyberpunk 2077

To respect your perk points in Cyberpunk 2077, follow these steps:

  1. Visit any ripperdoc in Night City
  2. Open up the trade window with them
  3. Purchase the Tabula E-Rasa for €$100,000

Starting things off, you’ll need to know the locations of some ripperdocs in Night City. These are the people you visit to buy the best cyberware, and they show up on the map with a forceps icon. All of the ripperdocs around the city sell the item you’ll need to respec your perks in Cyberpunk 2077.

Where to get Tabula E-Rasa

Go to any ripperdoc and open up your trade windows. Look on the right side of your screen for their item inventory. The item you need is a legendary progression shard known as the Tabula E-Rasa. Its name may sound familiar if you’ve played games like Path of Exile, but it originates from the Latin phrase meaning blank slate.

The Tabula E-Rasa costs €$100,000 eddies, which may be a little steep for your liking. Luckily, we have a guide on making unlimited money if you seriously messed up and need to refund your perk points as soon as possible.

As soon as you purchase the Tabula E-Rasa, your perk points will automatically become available to redistribute. It includes every perk point you’ve ever assigned into a perk. Doing this does not affect your attributes, like Body, Reflexes, and so on. It only affects your perk points, which you can see a list of at the top of this post.
