How to Get Unlimited Money in Cyberpunk 2077

I’m no programmer, but it always seems like, in large-scale RPGs, there’s at least one shopkeeper glitch that’ll let you take said keeper for all they’re worth. It worked in the Fallout games, it worked in the Elder Scrolls games, and now it works in Cyberpunk 2077. Here’s how to get unlimited money in Cyberpunk 2077.

For this glitch, you’re on the lookout for an Act 2 side job called “Space Oddity.” Feel free to get your David Bowie jokes out of the way now. This particular job will be automatically added to your journal after you complete the main quest “Playing for Time.”

You’ll be directed to a bunch of homeless guys hanging out near a gas station. You’ll need to deal with these guys, either peacefully (intimidation, Streetkid check, bribing) or violently (obvious), in order to open a military suitcase they’re guarding. Once they’re out of the way, you’ll need a Technical stat of 6 to hack it open. If you’re too low, go around the corner of the station to find a dumpster with a body next to it. That body will have an access shard you can use to crack the case.

Look under the case’s Files tab, and run the “launch.exe” program. This’ll deploy a pod from space that lands in the desert nearby, the location of which you’ll receive. When you get there, you’ll need to dispatch some Militech goons before you can open the pod.

Here’s the fun part: inside the pod is a vintage painting called Untitled 18 – Brancesi, 2021. It’s worth a pretty 4,000 eddies. Take it to a Dropbox and sell it, then back out of the trading interface entirely. Wait a moment, then open it back up and go to the Drop Box’s buyback to find the painting for sale for a measly 5 eddies. Buy it back, and you’ve got a net profit of 3,995. You can sell and buy the painting as many times as you want for infinite cash.

The only caveat is that the Drop Box will eventually run out of money, but when that happens, just wait 24 in-game hours, and it’ll restock. Just make sure you have the painting on you when you wait, or it’ll disappear from the Drop Box’s inventory.
