If you have already achieved the maximum level in the game, there’s good news. The Demonfall patch has added a new prestige system, allowing players to ascend to new heights. The process can be confusing if you haven’t read up on it, so we’re here to help you out with this guide. Here’s our quick guide on how to prestige in Demonfall.

How to prestige in Demonfall
Time needed:Â 5 minutes.
To prestige in Demonfall, you will first need to hit the maximum level of 50. You will then need to locate Murata in Kamakura Village and speak with him. He will tell you about a way to be reborn again and reach even greater strength. Tell him you are ready, and you will Prestige and be reborn again.
- Travel to Hayakawa Village
Reset and go back to the snowy Hayakawa Village. From there, you’ll need to search for an NPC named Garry.
- Find Garry, the NPC with the horses, and travel to Kamakura Village
Garry is an NPC in the main area of Hayakawa Village with the horses. Speak with Garry, and tell him you want to travel to Kamakura Village, which will cost you 100 Yen.
- Look for Murata at Kamakura Village
When you’re in Kamakura Village, head towards the buildings in town, and you should find Murata on your left. He is an NPC sitting on a bench, dressed in black clothing. Before speaking with him, ensure you are level 50 and make sure you know that you will lose your money, skills, and inventory. If you are not maximum level, Murata will say, “You are not ready for what I can give you…”
- Tell Murata you are ready for even greater strength
When you reach max level, speak with Murata, and he will say, “I see that you have reached the maximum of your power, but you can be reborn and reach an even greater strength.” Select the “Yes!” option, and then click on the “…” button to prestige. Murata will wish you well in your new life.Â
After Prestige, you’ll start from scratch. If you open your points tree, you will see you are back at level one with one Prestige point. The Prestige completely wipes your character but it gives you a 20% EXP buff on each Prestige. It also unlocks access to late-game skills like Sun and Moon Breathing, Hybrid, Slayer Mark, and more. One thing you do not lose is your clan, as the developers have made clear on their Discord and patch notes.
