How to make bullets in New World

To make bullets in New World, you will need to go to any major town’s Workshop. Open up your map by pressing the M key and locate the workshop icon. Bullets require the following materials to craft:

  • 4 Iron Ingot
  • 1 Linen
  • 1 Gunpowder

Crafting Gunpowder

The most challenging ingredient to come by out of the three requirements is Gunpowder. To make Gunpowder in New World, you will need the following materials:

  • 5 Charcoal
  • 2 Flint
  • 1 Saltpeter

Charcoal is made from chopped wood at the smelter. Flint is easily found on the coastlines and near shallow water. Saltpeter is found inside caves. Once you have crafted gunpowder you can start crafting the cartridges.

Crafting Cartridges (Bullets)

In order to craft cartridges, you will need 4 Iron Ingots (or whatever type of ingot for the bullet tier you will be making), 1 Gunpowder, and 1 Linen.

Iron Ingots are made from smelting iron ore, which you can find by mining iron nodes throughout the world. Gunpowder is made at the Workshop, as seen in the previous step, and Linen is crafted at a loom using fiber. You can find fiber from gathering hemp plants, which are found in forests and grasslands.

Now you know how to make bullets in New World. Make sure to save your resources for this rather complex early game recipe and be on the hunt for the more critical resources: Saltpeter, Hemp, and Ore Nodes.
