BitLife’s Mafia Update is now available, and players can join a family of their choice. There are six mafia families to choose from, but you’ll need to prove yourself before they allow you in their ranks. Here’s how to join the Mafia in BitLife.
How to join the Mafia in BitLife
Here’s how to join the Mafia in BitLife:
- Age up to 18 years old
- Head to the Occupations tab
- Scroll down and select Special Careers
- Choose Organized Crime
- Decide your affiliation
First, make sure to graduate high school or be at least 18 years old. Once that’s done, you can head into the occupations tab in-game, navigate to special careers, and then select the organized crime option. From there, you’ll see a list of six different mafias or mobs you can join, which are the following:
- Irish Mob: join the Irish Mob
- Latin Mafia: join the Latin Mafia
- Mafia: join the Mafia
- Russian Mafia: join the Russian Mafia
- Triad: join the triad
- Yakuza: join the yakuza
Before you can join the Mafia, you’ll want to have a bit of a reputation. Organized crime syndicates don’t just invite anyone to join them, so you have to prove yourself. Commit a string of crimes without getting caught as you age up. If you do get caught, you can restart your game and try again. However, being a hardened criminal and serving your time in jail might make you a desirable candidate for an organized crime family.
One task you should make sure to do in BitLife is a bank robbery because this increases your chances of joining the Mafia. You can also pickpocket people as a child, anywhere from around 8 to 16 years old. Age up to 18 years old after robbing a bank and committing a bunch of successful crimes.
Now you’re ready to join a Mafia family. Select whatever family you want from the menu, and choose a method for applying. You have a few options, such as washing their cars, to show your interest in joining. When you’re ready, hit the try to join them button. You’ll either be accepted or denied and start as a lower level rank like an associate.
Under the job section, you’ll have a notoriety progress bar and a standing within your Mafia family. Make sure to work harder at your job whenever possible, and continue doing crimes if you want to work your way up. If you’re looking to become a mob boss, we have a guide for that.
You can also view the entire list of Mafia family members, along with their status, by clicking on Family. You’ll have an individual relationship progress bar with each of them. Tap on an individual to edit their name, or do various other options.
