How to Interact with the Goofy Gravestone in Fortnite

Fortnite’s annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares has kicked off and with it comes some spooky good fun! Players can experience Halloween-themed skins coming to the Shop, new quests to complete for rewards, and awesome haunts to interact with around the island.

One such thing is the Goofy Gravestones found throughout multiple locations. But if you’re wondering what they really are and how to interact with them, we’ve got the answers for you and more below! Let’s check it out!

How to Interact with the Goofy Gravestone in Fortnite

One of the more mundane but adorably joyful additions to Fortnitemares 2022 is the Goofy Gravestones that are placed throughout the map at various locations. When found, interacting with it is quite easy, as you just walk up to one and press the action button to trigger a reaction from it. You’ll know if the gravestone you’re in front of is indeed a Goofy gravestone as it has a large name that pops up above it.

Once you’ve interacted with a Goofy Gravestone, it’ll say a witty Halloween-themed one-liner. There are 10 different lines it could say. Here are all of the different funny sentences that the Goofy Gravestones say:

• In case of zombie outbreak, this grave will be unoccupied.
• Take a femur, leave a femur.
• Cuddle Team Founder.
• This is NOT a secret apocalypse bunker.
• This plot is sponsored by No Sweat Insurance.
• Willow’s Axe Cache – Don’t Touch!
• It’s just teeth in here!

If you’re looking to find yourself one of the Goofy Gravestones, you’re unfortunately going to have to rely on luck as they spawn randomly within the island. Though, there are some known locations where they spawn frequently. I would personally head to Grim Gables as a first shot but other locations like the Reality Tree, Shiny Sound, and other areas decorated for the spooky season should be prime locations as well.

It’s important to point out that while these Goofy Gravestones are fun to find, they won’t give you any kind of reward. At least for now. Though that doesn’t mean they won’t be part of a Fortnitemares quest in the future.
