Fortnite’s ability to create your own maps and share them with tons of other players provides creators the tools they need to create their very own escape rooms right in Fortnite. The added benefit being that these escape rooms can be a bit more expansive and intricate since it all takes place in a video game. Gamers have taken to the creative mode and come up with some intricate escape rooms and even some spooky ones. Every map that is created comes with a simple code that can be copied and pasted in-game to load that map immediately. A very spooky horror map, Evil Awaits 2.0 isn’t just an escape room map. Boasting an interactive map, jump scares, parkour, and teleportation as well as an escape room provides tons of content to enjoy. Can you escape the clutches of the dead with your life in tact? Evil awaits you on this terrifying terrain of a map.
Escape Room: The Film – 0000-8260-8716
Inspired by the 2019 horror film with the same name; Escape Room: The Film attempts to recreate many of the deadly and devious escape rooms that took the lives of plenty of the characters within the film. This map is purely an escape room map and will be certain to scratch that puzzle solving itch.
700 IQ Escape Room – 3489-6006-9472
Our first map on this list created by notable map maker 2xvoid, this escape room is really meant to test brain power. This escape room comes equipped with 6 increasingly difficult rooms containing cars, invisible walls, and fish. Players can take this map on by themselves or up to a trio of people.
The Riddle Me Escape Room – 0764-1752-5321
Another multi-leveled escape room, this time with a little bit more parkour added on top of the escape rooms. In between rooms will be areas of parkour that players will need to traverse in order to make it to the next room. Spike traps, floating fans, and more will be what to expect when dropping into this escape room by yourself or with up to three other people.
Escape Room: Coulrophobia – 2655-9116-5877
Coulrophobia refers to the extreme or irrational fear of clowns. This map will cause all players to rethink their feelings on clowns permanently. Players can take themselves and one other friend into this first person menagerie of horror where they find themselves at the mercy of a clown. After coming across a clown, gamers will find themselves trapped in cages where they must now escape or their lives be forfeit. Use any clues or resources you find around the map to get one step closer to freedom, but be weary of any clowns in the bushes.
Horror House Escape Room – 8121-2347-8293
From the twisted intricate mind of 2xvoid comes their second map on this list. Horror House Escape Room puts the player in the traditional horror movie trope. You find yourself locked inside the basement of a mysterious house with no idea of how you got there. You must search the dark and damp basement, along with the many other areas of the map, and try to find any items or tool you can use to make your way out of this situation alive.
20 Easy Levels Escape Room – 5359-9186-3283
If you are having difficulty with some of the other escape rooms on this list, then this should be a must play. Over 20 different rooms on this map for up and coming escapers to train and hone their investigative minds, players will benefit greatly from trying out this map. Even if you are a long time escape room veteran, it’s always good to get some practice in while helping your friends learn more about escape rooms and how they work in Fortnite.
How do you input a Fortnite Map Code?
Once a Fortnite escape room code has been copied players need to enter the code in Fortnite in order to load the map in game. It’s a fairly simple process and should only take a few moments.
- Once in game, select the Creative game mode
- Select ‘CHANGE‘ above the yellow ‘PLAY!’ button
- Choose ‘ISLAND CODE‘ at the top of the screen
- Enter the code in the pop-up box
