You need this key to finish the House Arrest Part 1 quest. So naturally many are looking for it. Surprisingly finding the key might be easier than you’d think. Here’s how to get the Iron Gates Key in Escape from Tarkov.

Where to find the Iron Gate Key

What might make many players smack their forehead is that many keys in Escape from Tarkov just randomly spawn. Sometimes they spawn exactly when you need them and other times it just might take a while. Like many keys, the Iron Gate key spawns in drawers and jackets. They also spawn as pick-up loot from killed Scavs enemies in their bags or pockets.

Once you obtain the Iron Gate key, you can finally find what it goes to and complete your mission. In the House Arrest Part 1 quest, you have to free a group of missing prisoners. Once you have the Iron Gate key, go Chekannaya 15 apartment building at the Streets of Tarkov location. Use the key to unlock cells 1, 2, and 4 inside the building. This will help you complete the mission!

That’s all there is to it. Sometimes the easiest solution is to go through everything and pick up all items you can in a game. This is also a recurring thing in Escape from Tarkov.
