Getting resources for crafting can be a boring activity. That is, unless it involves some hunting of sorts. That, I found very interesting and entertaining. Let me see what evil, monstrous, and hideous creature we will be getting rid of today, saving humanity from such a horrible sight… Oh no, not them! Here is how to get feathers in Sons of the Forest.
How to Get Feathers in Sons of the Forest
I wonder where we would be able to get some feathers in order to use them to craft some arrows and survive the game. Hmm, interesting. No, don’t look at the image below. Oh well, you did. Yes, we are going to kill some birds. Poor birdies. But anyway, you will be able to get feathers from birds, and you can find some seagulls around the shoreline. The trick is knowing how to make them drop feathers.
There are many ways you can get rid of these seagulls, however, many have reported that using things like an axe doesn’t yield any type of feathers. Your best bet is to use a spear. You can either throw it from a distance or use it melee style in order to get them feathers. Once you kill the birds, you will send some feathers flying across the shoreline. Just go ahead and collect them while they are floating in the air, defying several laws of gravity. But yet again, what would a game be like if we don’t break science.

Once you get your spear, don’t think it twice and go after the birds. If you can’t stomach killing them, remember the thing that the girl at the Oracle’s place said to Neo: there is no spoon. Well, there are no birds, this is a game after all! Good luck, my bird killing machine. Oh, and that was a Matrix reference, if you missed it for some reason.
