On the Warzone 2.0 side of things though, players have a new mission to set out on thanks to the inclusion of the brand new gameplay area in its DMZ mode. This area is called Building 21 and serves as a mysterious and dangerous place that players can enter for the highest risk and reward that this game mode has seen yet.

But how do you even get into Building 21 once you find it? Well, like with any other major location in DMZ, you’re going to need keys to do so. Although, it isn’t as easy to break down as one may think. But, let’s explain how to get Building 21 keys in Modern Warfare 2’s DMZ so that you can get into this awesome new location.

When talking about Building 21, it’s important to highlight the fact that its existence is purposefully mysterious, and since it’s recently even become somewhat able to be infiltrated, there isn’t much to know about it just yet.

So far, we’ve only been able to have concrete information on one particular way to find the needed Building 21 keys in order to get into the location and begin your adventure behind its walls. Though there are sure to be more ways to find those keys as more players interact with the game mode, and Activision divulges more info as well.

The one method proven to work is to take out the Commander helicopters when doing the Intel Contract. Once you take out the pilot or down the helicopter, you’ll be able to retrieve a supply drop from it where you can find the Building 21 key inside. Only 1 key is needed in order to enter Building 21 per entry. And you’ll need to make sure you exfil with the key you find in order to secure it for use.

Other players have surmised that other bosses around Al Mazrah such as the Chemist and Juggernaut could also have the potential of dropping keys. So it’s proven so far to be aware of your surroundings and be creative in ways that you could see Building 21 keys being involved, whether through boss fights or supply drops. These keys seem to be randomly generated, so you may have to try the same thing multiple times in order to see a successful result.

Well, that’s everything to know about how to get Building 21 key in DMZ! Be sure to check out some of our other great Warzone 2.0 guides too, such as “All Contracts in Warzone 2.0 and How to Complete Them”.
