When it comes to playing Fortnite on the go, there are a couple of ways to do so. Android

In-Game

In-game you can set your framerate from the Display section of your settings. You should have this locked at 60 FPS. You can also adjust the Graphics Quality from there as well, which will help you boost to 60 FPS if you lower them. Also, change the Allow Low Power Mode to “On” too, as this allows the game to run better on a lower battery.

Game Mode

If you’re playing on Android, then the main thing to check on is whether or not your device has some kind of Game Mode that you can activate. This allows the device to run the game smoother by canceling background software and adjusting other settings in order for games to run smoother by reducing its quality.

Other Methods

Additionally, close your background apps that may be running. Not only can they slow your phone down but they can also eat up your battery life. Some newer Android devices will also allow you to enable something called MSAA 4x. It can typically be found in the Developer options located under your settings.

iOS

Wi-Fi Connection

Unfortunately, when it comes to playing on iOS, because it’s streaming, you can’t actually adjust anything in-game. Your best bet is to ensure that you have a very strong wireless connection, as this will help you get the best FPS.

Background Apps

You should also limit the apps running in your background so that your device isn’t chugging too hard.
