Do you remember when a new game didn’t immediately have critical errors upon release? We at Gamer Journalist remember. It’d seem to be a new fact of life for those of us neck-deep in gaming, so it’s best if we just learn to live with it. If you’re experiencing the ‘Secure Boot Is Not Enabled’ anti-cheat error in FIFA 23, read on to learn ways of fixing it. If there are any, that is.
How to Fix ‘Secure Boot Is Not Enabled’ Error
So, to (potentially) solve this problem, it’s helpful to understand where it’s coming from. As of writing, FIFA 23 isn’t … out. In fact, it is set for release on September 30. But, there are a select number of players who are — theoretically — enjoying the game before it goes into early access on September 27.
I say theoretically because this error is preventing many from jumping into the latest installment of this series. And, to make matters worse, there hasn’t been any kind of universal fix, as of yet. But, don’t give up! There is one thing you could do that might work, but it also might not. So, give this a shot, and if it doesn’t work, then … you’ll have to hold out for an official fix from EA.

So, what is this one potential fix? Run the ORIGIN app as an administrator, and do the same for FIFA 23. It may take a bit of time for the game to load, but cast aside your doubts. But, after it’s loaded, if the issue is still giving you grief, the best advice we have is to wait patiently. It doesn’t help right this second, but it’s the best option you’ve got at the moment, unfortunately.
