Obols are a new kind of in-game currency that can be farmed around the map and used for various purposes. No doubt you will farm some Obols by accident, but what should you do when you really need to get your hands on a bunch of them in a short amount of time? What is the best way to farm Obols in Diablo 4? That’s what we’re here to answer.

How to Quickly Get Obols in Diablo 4?

Diablo 4 will give you Obols as a reward for multiple events. Virtually any event in the open world will have a chance of dropping Obols when completed. If you want to maximize your Obol per minute farm, my best advice is that you gather a team instead of doing the events solo. The team will be much quicker at clearing enemies in various events and will be able to assist you in completing event mastery requirements, which if completed, give additional Obols to players.

Other ways of getting Obols in Diablo include finishing all quests that you know offer a Cache as a reward, completing Cursed Object events while roaming the Dungeons, and completing Legion Zone events.

What are Obols for in Diablo 4?

Obols or Murmuring Obols, are a currency that you can spend at the Purveyor of Curiosities vendor to purchase gear or Whispering Keys that open Silent Chests. You should know that Obols are untradable and have a limit in your inventory of 500. If you keep farming Obols after you have reached the maximum capacity those extra ones will just be wasted, so we suggest spending them as soon as you see that you have reached the maximum.

We are yet to discover if any in-game features will allow for increasing this limit, but for now, just spend what you have before you farm more. We will update our article with any new info we get.
