How to Earn Infinite Money in Tactics Ogre: Reborn

Shut up and take my money! And then give me more!

Let’s be real. How many RPGs can Square Enix release and still be of decent quality? I mean, those guys don’t sleep or what? Anyway, just released on November 11, Tactics Ogre: Reborn is a remaster of the 2010 remake, Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, with its predecessor being the original 1995 game, Tactics Ogre. One could say that 10 years is not enough for a remaster of a remake, but I digress. Anyway, the remaster of the classic RPG is upon us, and just like every other game, there are a couple of things that are, let’s say, a little bit faulty in it. In the history of bugs, this could mean bad news such as game locking or simply falling out of bounds, or it could be good news, opening the way for exploits and speed run strategies. In the case of Tactics Ogre: Reborn, it is the latter. Here is how to earn infinite money in Tactics Ogre: Reborn.

How to Earn Infinite Money

Now, do not try this at home or at your local store because you could get charged with fraud. Although, technically, you’re doing nothing wrong here. You see, in order to earn infinite money (or Goth, that’s the name of the in-game currency) in Tactics Ogre: Reborn you would want to visit the Shopmaster. Once you’re over there, you’re going to craft a certain item called the Baldur Blowgun.

Here is the thing: the amount of money you will need to craft it is significantly lower than the amount of money you will get when selling it. You don’t have to worry about anything else really, you don’t even need the materials to craft the Blowgun. Conveniently, the story will sell you the materials automatically in order to craft it. It will cost you 1,450 Goth to craft a Baldur Blowgun without any materials. However, you can sell each Blowgun at 6,400 Goth. That’s a 3,950 Goth profit! And that all happens in front of the Shopmaster.

So, either the Shopmaster is the worst seller ever or this is a bug. And yes, it definitely is a bug. So before this gets patched, be sure to grab those Goths and make yourself a gothmillionaire without even breaking a sweat (yo can create 499 Blowguns at a time, so imagine the profit). Happy fraud!
