How to Count and Return Cargo in Contraband Police

Managing cargo isn't as hard.

Contraband Police is everything you would expect from a game with that name to be. You get to stop different cars and trucks, check their cargo and arrest anyone who broke the law in any way. Aside from that, the game does involve some shooting and murder mystery, but the main focus is preventing the smugglers from achieving their goal.

Contraband Police: Counting and Returning Cargo Explained

Counting the Cargo

Counting cargo is pretty simple in this game and it involves only a few steps. First, when you encounter a vehicle you have to take out your clipboard (press C) and approach the cargo. Hold the left mouse button pressed and go over the cargo. You will see that you will fill out the clipboard and everything that is ok will be highlighted.

Returning the Cargo

The two violations that can happen are that the cargo list and the actual cargo don’t match or that there is a contraband item in the cargo. If the numbers add up, you can proceed to return the cargo. You do that by going to Constable Maximov that is sitting nearby and ordering him to return the cargo. He is also the person to whom you can order to decline the cargo if something is wrong.

Finding Contraband in Cargo

When you decide to do so, you can open cargo items manually and see what’s inside for yourself. Boxes and crates can be opened with an axe, while smaller items are opened with a knife. If you find contraband you have the ability to arrest the driver immediately, and then again you go to Constable Maximov, but this time you give him the order to clear out the inspection zone so new vehicles may approach the border.
