The Tier 3 Black Mous Faction Mission has one particular objective for players to complete. This is to extract a total of $200,000 in a single backpack. Not only this but, the Mission specifies not only obtaining cash but also valuables. However, it is not disclosed to you what these valuables are.

How to Complete ‘The Whale’

This is one of those Faction Mission which may require a team to complete. You can of course, attempt this on your own, however you will have greater ease completing ‘The Whale’ with a full squad. This is just so that you can loot for the cash in multiple places at once, reducing your time searching. You also increase your survival and cash simply by spreading out the cash amongst you, therefore if someone was to fall, you will have cash left over to continue the Mission. This will help you tremendously instead of running around, building up that cash counter with the cash on you the entire time. The biggest pro to playing this Mission as a team is that when completing Contracts, you will all receive the payout reward.

A Mission Requiring Teamwork

By working with a team, you will reach your objective far quicker than if you were playing solo. Whilst this Mission is achievable on your own, the time spent completing this Faction Mission increases tremendously due to the smaller payout from Contracts. The Contracts you should focus on completing are: Radioactive Materials and Destroy Supplies. For obtaining valuables, you need to find high value items such as Special Keys which can be added to the backpack alongside the cash to increase the value of the bag.

Radioactive Materials Contract

Make sure that when going into a Radioactive Material Contract you have a Geiger counter on you to quickly find the Cache Drop. This is a fast Contract to complete and offers you $3,500 as the reward. Inside the Caches you will obtain Nuclear Fuel giving you $10,000 on top of completing the Mission.

Destroy Supplies

Whilst this is a longer Contract to complete, it does reward you with $7,500 on completion. The bonus with completing Destroy Supplies Contracts is that Safes are flagged up on the Al Mazrah Map which will hold cash inside. By searching these you will obtain varying amounts of cash needed for ‘The Whale’ Mission. Keep in mind that you may not get these two Contracts regularly in one run of this Mission. If you are working as a team, divide your team up to complete the Contracts and search the nearby Safes individually. As these are easy to open and defend, you should have no problem opening these Safes on your own and looting the inside for extra cash.

As you will need to wait for Exfil with will take approximately 30 minutes to appear after starting ‘The Whale’, you will want to complete as many Contracts as you can. Keep in mind that other players trying to complete their Missions could appear nearby. Remember that you need to Exfil with the cash on one person only if you are playing with a team. Drop all of your money, or collect the others including that of their valuable items. Luckily you do not need $200,000 exactly but it is the minimum requirement.
