A Mission of great difficulty

Ready to take on one of the hardest Missions in DMZ? Making it to Tier 5 of the Legion Faction has been no easy task to complete. Now attempting the ‘Contractual Obligations’ Mission feels like all everything has been a training experience leading to this difficult Mission. There is a small set of Missions across the three Factions which are too difficult or cannot be completed solo. Perhaps it is due to bugs or is asking way too much for a solo to complete. Offering a 20,000 XP reward alongside obtaining the Control Tower Key, ‘Contractual Obligations’ feels like a worthy opponent to take on in DMZ. This is our guide on how to complete this Legion Tier 5 Mission.

‘Contractual Obligations’ Mission Summary

This Mission is difficulty due to time constraints. Players need to complete 8 unique Contracts within a timeframe of 25 minutes as this is the length of one deployment until the radiation spreads in the Map. Afterwards you will have an average of 10 minutes to safely exfil from Al Mazrah. Unlike other Mission where you can spread out the Mission objectives across countless deployments. The ‘Contractual Obligations’ Mission traps you within a single deployment where the goal is to complete 8 different Contracts before you exfil.

How to Complete ‘Contractual Obligations’

Begin with Hunt Squad

As there are only 9 Contracts available in DMZ and you need to complete 8 of them for this Mission, we recommend opting out of completing the Ship Cargo Contract. This will leave you to Contracts completed solely on land, making your life a little easier. Some Contracts of course take much less time to complete than others such as the HVT Contract. However, we recommend starting with the longest Contracts first in case these get taken early on in your deployment by other Operators. Therefore, players should start with the Hunt Squad Contract. This can easily take the longest depending on what the AI are doing and how far away they are to you.

Use a Timer

Of course, before starting a Mission you should have a land vehicle to get around Al Mazrah as quickly as possible. This will help as well in Missions such as Hunt Squad. You should also get a UAV before this Mission starts to flag up any nearby enemies, pinpointing their movements. Of course activating a UAV Tower will be difficult unless the Tower is close to the Hunt Squad location. If the Hunt Squad Contract is taking you longer than 4 minutes to complete, you should exit and redeploy as you will want to complete this within a 3 minute timeframe. Time how long it is taking you to complete the Hunt Squad Contract.

Raid and Destroy Contracts

Next, focus on completing a Raid Weapon Stash and Destroy Supplies Contracts. These take a specific amount of time to complete, therefore you should aim to get these out of the way after completing the Hunt Squad Contract. Always refer to the Map for the next nearest Contract. Remember to use a vehicle to fast-travel around the Map so you are not wasting any time looking for a Contract. If you hang onto the Geiger Counter from a previous deployment after completing a Secure Nuclear Material Contract, you will be able to complete this Contract in half the time upon entering your next deployment.

Be Aware of the Map

Remember that Contracts can be taken by other Operators so keep track of what is and is not available on the Map at any given time. It is best to focus on the named location you are in after taking on the Hunt Squad Contract. You should aim to complete the Contracts most closest to you. You do not want to end up travelling across the entire Map to complete a Contract. Of course, doing this with a full squad will be a lot quicker and easier. This may take quite a few tries to complete it solo otherwise. If you happen to be close to a Helo spawn, it is worth grabbing to get across the Map but do not try for it if you are not near it at the beginning of your deployment.

As the Radiation Zone spreads upon the 25 minute mark, you will need to watch carefully what Contracts are available on Al Mazrah. Should the Zone spread onto any Contracts, these will no longer be available to complete.

We hope these tips on how to complete the Legion Mission ‘Contractual Obligations’ in DMZ was useful.
