The first week of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5 is officially underway. It looks like The Mandalorian, from Disney’s hit streaming series, is the main skin unlocked at level one. In true bounty hunter and Mandalorian fashion, you’ll need to complete some bounties this week. You have a little over seven days of writing this to finish this challenge. Here’s how to Complete Bounties in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5.
As the challenge says, there’s plenty of work if you know where to look. All of the characters around the map can give you a different bounty. Refer to our list of character locations in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5, to figure out where you need to go to find them.
How to complete Bounties in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5
To pick up a bounty, visit any of the characters around the map this season in Fortnite. There are dozens of characters to choose from, and you can speak with all of them. The bounties are usually simple tasks like eliminating someone. Finishing the job gets you a reward, as it should. Talk to a character, and select complete a bounty. Give them the thumbs up to accept the quest. Talk to them again, and view your bounty to eliminate another player.
For example, you can visit The Reaper over in the house west of Sweaty Sands. He could give you a bounty to eliminate another player. A yellow marker shows up on your map with the approximate last known location of the bounty you’re hunting.
The good news is that if that player dies in any manner, you still get credit for completion. The reward is typically something like some resources. Keep in mind that other players could also know your location if you are their bounty. After eliminating the target, a Bounty Complete prompt should pop up on the screen. Doing a bounty as The Mandalorian gets you an extra reward, too. You’ll also collect some Bars for completing your bounty.
You need to complete five of these within the next week, and it is possible to finish them in a squad match. If you head over to your quest tab, you can see The Mandalorian Bounties challenge recommends four players. You can choose to complete this solo or in a group for a quicker and more leisurely time.
