How Much Storage Does Honkai Star Rail Take?

Honkai Star Rail is a pretty big game, but it’s not really any bigger than any of the other major titles that miHoYo has released. If you’re used to playing games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd, then you probably already have a good idea of how much storage you’ll need for Honkai Star Rail.

As you’re probably already aware, Honkai Star Rail is available on five total platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, iOS, Android, and PC. This game’s storage requirements will change depending on what platform you’re playing it on.

Here are all of the minimum storage requirements for every platform that Honkai Star Rail is offered on:

PC

If you want to play Honkai Star Rail on PC, then you’ll need to make sure you have at least 15 GB of storage space available. You may need to free up more space as you play through the game and create save files, however!

Android/iOS

Out of all of the available platforms, Honkai Star Rail takes up the least amount of space on mobile devices. Android and iOS players will need to make sure that they have at least 8 GB of free space on their mobile devices prior to downloading the game.

PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5

Honkai Star Rail isn’t being offered quite yet on PlayStation consoles, so not much is currently known about its system requirements. However, it’s estimated that players will need to have anywhere from 20 to 25 GB of free space prior to downloading it.

As previously mentioned, this game hasn’t yet been released for PlayStation consoles, so the system requirements for this platform aren’t yet fully known. This page will be updated once this game is released on PlayStation consoles, but for now, just focus on freeing up as much space on your console as possible in preparation (at least 20 to 25 GB).

Android/iOS

Here are all of the minimum system requirements for Honkai Star Rail on Android and iOS devices:

  • iPads: Apple A10 processor or newer.
• Android:

  • OS version 8 and up.
  • 4 GB RAM and up.
  • Processor: Dimensity 720, Kirin 810, Snapdragon 835, and above.

PC

Here are all of the minimum system requirements for Honkai Star Rail on PC:

• 15 GB available storage.
• 64-bit operating system (Windows 7 or higher).
• Intel Core i3 processor or newer.
• 6 GB RAM and up.
• Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 video card or newer generations.

As long as your devices meet these requirements, you’ll be able to play Honkai Star Rail without any problems!
