Ghost of Tsushima received a large update over the weekend, introducing Iki Island to the game, along with various other quality of life changes and content updates. Apparently, the new DLC resulted in a strange bug causing some players to get stuck shortly after arriving on Iki Island. There was a workaround where players could equip a different armor set to get it to work, but this was clearly unexpected behavior. Here are all of the Ghost of Tsushima August 23 patch notes.
Ghost of Tsushima August 23 Patch Notes (Version 2.06)
Here are all of the changes for the Ghost of Tsushima Version 2.06 Update:
- Addressed an issue where players could not progress through the game after arriving on Iki Island wearing the Sakai Armor
As you can see, the Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut update only has one fix in it, but it’s a rather large one, especially for players who were unable to figure out a workaround. Apparently, players using the Sakai Armor were not able to climb up a ledge at the very beginning on Iki Island. The update size is roughly 206.4 MB on the PlayStation 5.
A previous small hotfix from August 21 addresses issues causing some players to experience game crashes. Before that, we had the day one Director’s Cut patch, bringing players the Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island story expansion, target lock-on, accessibility options, bug fixes, and various UI tweaks and quality of life changes.
