In Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3, most of the map is now underwater. Aquaman is the focus of the new season, and his skin along with the Arthur Curry variant skin are unlockable through a unique set of challenges.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 Week 1 Challenges List
- Deal 200 damage to Loot Sharks at Sweaty Sands
- Deal damage in ten seconds of landing at Hydro 16
- Enter the vault at Catty Corner
- Find three Gnomes at Homely Hills
- Search seven chests or ammo boxes at Rickety Rig
- Land at Misty Meadows and finish in top 25
- Get three eliminations at Steamy Stacks

Deal 200 damage to Loot Sharks at Sweaty Sands
One of the new features of this season is the ability to ride Loot Sharks. You can damage Loot Sharks, and cast your fishing line in front of them to go for a ride. When the sharks take the bait, your character gets some water skis and flies across the water.
A good place to complete this Fortnite Season 3 Week 1 challenge is at The Authority, but you can generally find Loot Sharks anywhere that there is water.
Deal damage in ten seconds of landing at Hydro 16
A few whirlpools can be found all around the map. There is one at The Fortilla and one to the west coast of Salty Springs. When you jump into a whirlpool, your character is launched up in the air. You can then pull out your glider and swoop to anywhere within the area.
Enter the vault at Catty Corner
Catty Corner is on the southeast of the Fortnite map. The boss Kit is at this location, and you need to eliminate Kit to get the vault key card. The vault is inside the compound to the west side. Use the key card at the computer terminal to gain access, and then enter the vault to complete the challenge.
Find three Gnomes at Homely Hills

Search seven chests or ammo boxes at Rickety Rig
Rickety Rig is a brand new location that can be found between Misty Meadows and The Fortilla. As you can guess by the name, it’s a Rig located in the middle of the water. Head to this location and search for ammo boxes and chests. You can easily complete this challenge in a single match as long as it’s not too crowded.
Land at Misty Meadows and finish in top 25
Another straightforward Fortnite Season 3 Week 1 challenge is to land at Misty Meadows and finish in the top 25. All you need to do is make sure you land at Misty Meadows and stay alive for about five to ten minutes. If you are good at the game, just play normally. But if you really want to complete this challenge, you can probably hide and knock it out before the first storm closes.
Get three eliminations at Steamy Stacks
Steamy Stacks is found on the northeast of the Fortnite map. Land there and get three eliminations to complete this challenge.
